1968 Alfa Romeo 1750 Berlina. This is a series 1 1750, produced 1968-69. The Alfa Romeo 1750 Berlina was a two door saloon (Berlina is Italian for Saloon), with 1.8L twin cam I4 engine (1799cc). This example was registered in July 1968.
1968 Austin Cambridge. The last generation of the Austin Cambridge, the A60 was built circa 1961-1969. This one, registered in December 1968 would have been one of the last, before the model was replaced by the Austin Maxi. Cool car! 1622 cc petrol engine.
1968 Chevrolet Camaro 327. Two door coupé. 5.4L (5358 cc) = 327 cubic inches, hence Camaro 327. Absolute classic American muscle car. This example was registered in February 1968.
Very cool early Ford Escort mk1 De Luxe. This one was first registered in November 1968. Great looking car!
Lancia Flavia production ran from 1961 to 1970, with a 4-door saloon (Berlina), 2-door convertible, Zagato sport, and (as seen here) a 2-door coupé, with bodywork designed by Pininfarina. It was equipped with an 1800cc Lancia H4 ohv engine. This classic Italian car was registered in August 1968.
The Morris Minor had been available since 1948, with this version (the series V Minor 1000 Traveller) available since 1962. This particular vehicle was registered in February 1968 - quite a late example, and one of the last assembled at Abingdon (from a Cowley chassis and a Coventry body); in 1969, production of the Traveller moved to the Wolseley factory in Adderley Park, Birmingham.
The Hillman Imp was offered in numerous incarnations, marketed under different marques, including as the Singer Chamois (luxury version) and the Sunbeam Imp Sport (twin-carburettor performance model). The Singer Chamois Sport combined both luxury and performance for a very special Imp indeed! This example was registered in May 1968 and is equipped with the famous 875cc aluminium block rear mounted engine for which the Imp was famous. The Singer Chamois Sport had a top speed of 90 mph! Built at the Rootes / Chrysler plant in Linwood, Scotland. Great little car!
The Triumph Herald was produced from 1959 at the Standard-Triumph plant in Coventry UK. Like so many other 1960s Triumphs it was styled by legendary Italian designer Giovanni Michelotti. The example shown here is the Triumph Herald 13/60 (October 1967 - May 1971) - in this case a two-door convertible with a 1296cc OHV I4 engine (the Triumph Herald 13/60 was also available as a 2-door saloon and 2-door estate). This is an early 13/60, registered in the UK in January 1968. Great little classic Triumph!
The Triumph Spitfire Mk3 was produced between 1967 and 1970 - this example was registered in October 1968. The mk3 Triumph Spitfire was equipped with the same 1296cc Standard SC I4 engine as the Triumph Herald 13/60 (circa 1967-71).
